Dublin vs Wexford Live Stream Leinster SHC Quarter-Final

Watch Dublin vs Wexford Live Stream Leinster Hurling Senior Championship Quarter-Final at Páirc an Chrócaigh. Wexford have not managed back-to-back victories in the Leinster Hurling Championship since 2004, when they defeated Kilkenny and Offaly in the Leinster final. The 2014 Championship saw them defeat Clare and Waterford in the All-Ireland Championship qualifiers but saw Limerick beat them in the quarter-finals. Watch Dublin vs Wexford Live Online

Given that run and the rise of Conor McDonald, Wexford limping out of last year’s Championship with just one victory, against Westmeath, was even more frustrating for Liam Dunne’s side. The news that Lee Chin will miss the game is a big blow.

Dunne was criticised for missing a training session while he was taking a trip to Spain in March. The trick for Wexford is trying to get some of their U21 form into their senior ranks. They have won three U21 Leinster titles on the trot, but have failed to make an impact at senior level.

And what of Dublin? The team that promised so much under Anthony Daly has dropped off somewhat. Defeat to Galway ended their Leinster Championship at the quarter-final stage last year. It was two wins in the qualifiers against Laois and Limerick before Waterford knocked them out in the All-Ireland quarter-finals.

Despite the loss of Danny Sutcliffe, who withdrew from the panel at the end of last year, Dublin will have more than enough to ease past Wexford. The home comforts of Croke Park will help Ger Cunningham’s side ahead of a handy little game against Kilkenny in the semi-final.

Key Men:

David Treacy (Dublin): Treacy was the shining light in Dublin’s campaign, with 2-48, but the fact Kilkenny and Tipperary can call upon multiple players to score on a regular basis is one of the reasons why they are top of the pile. The loss of Danny Sutcliffe who withdrew from the panel at the end of last year will put more responsibility on the shoulders of Treacy. He will need a few players to stand up to help him if they are to stand a chance throughout the summer.

Conor McDonald (Wexford): He has been integral to the Wexford cause for the last number of years and is still only 20. His promotion to the senior setup in Wexford and his progression over the last number of years has coincided with a large number of young players brought into the senior team, such as Ian Byrne. He will need to rediscover his form of 2014 if Wexford are going to get back to winning ways in the Hurling Championship.

Betting Prediction:

2016 PLAYERS Championship Live Stream Online TV

Players Championship 2016 will start today at TPC Sawgrass. It’s that one week of the year when we all get really philosophical about how many major championships there are in golf and what, exactly, makes a major. That means it’s Players Championship week at TPC Sawgrass, host of the game’s unofficial “fifth major.” There are, of course, only four majors in golf but if there were five, this would totally be next in line.

Whatever criticisms you may have of The Players and the many reasons you list for why it is explicitly not a major, it’s hard to argue that it’s not a fantastic golf event for TV. The course is instantly recognizable. There are disasters not lurking, but conspicuously standing right in front of you on every tee. The field is the deepest of the year — every superstar shows up and wants to win. And the Stadium Course is just that, designed as an amphitheater stadium on so many holes that the crowd is lathered up and wild for each birdie and/or disaster.

All this history, familiarity and potential for drama came together perfectly last year in what was probably the greatest finish ever at The Players. It was the most dramatic hour or two of golf on TV all year, including Jordan Spieth’s history-making runs at the majors. That closing stretch, the island green and Rickie Fowler’s absurd 5-under in four-hole finish made it the most gripping block of televised golf in 2015. The playoff on the island hole and Rickie’s repeated darts into that famous par-3 then took it to another level. You needed to exhale and go for a walk to wind down after just sitting on your couch and watching.

It will be hard (probably impossible) to match last year’s finish, but all the top players are back again this year, many with plenty to prove. The coverage will be expansive, per usual — there are no Augusta National-esque pretensions about limiting TV coverage because it’s tradition. NBC and its Comcast sister network, Golf Channel, are the traditional TV partners and they’re back again this year, but with one big addition. This is the first time David Feherty will ever call The Players. So what is already an entertaining broadcast will certainly have a little more flavor, and should be a warmup for Feherty before getting to do the Open and the Ryder Cup with his new NBC crew later in the year.

This being the PGA Tour’s marquee event, it’s also the biggest week for their newer over-the-top streaming service, PGA TOUR LIVE. The service did not exist at last year’s Players, so this is their biggest test yet and they’ve got all the top names to spotlight in their featured groups stream each of the first two rounds. Those groups will include Spieth, Jason Day, Rory McIlroy, Phil Mickelson and Fowler, as you might expect. Then on the weekend, they will do more featured groups streams in the mornings — which is above and beyond the usual setup of those streams ending by Saturday.

The featured groups stream requires that OTT subscription fee, but there is a 7-day free trial you can burn if you want in this week. The featured holes streams, however, are free and those will be running all four days. The Tour has also added a second stream for their biggest week of the season. When the featured groups coverage ends, the usual switch to a featured holes stream focusing on Nos. 12 and 16 will kick in. Buuuut, all day, there will be a second stream devoted to the island 17th, with mixed-in coverage of the 13th when the TV coverage begins in the afternoon. So you have at least one free option all day in the first two rounds. Got all that?

Oh, and also, all the TV coverage will be simulcast all week via Golf Channel and NBC’s Live Extra service. So there are options everywhere and plenty of ways to ignore your work and watch golf at one of the sport’s most recognizable venues.

This is a good tournament and golf has been sleepy ever since Spieth put those two balls in the water at Augusta’s 12th hole. Here are all your coverage options for the week at TPC Sawgrass (all times Eastern):

Canelo vs Khan Live Streaming

WBC, Ring Magazine and Lineal Middleweight World Champion Canelo Alvarez (46-1-1, 32 KOs) and British top fighter and former two-time former world champion Amir “King” Khan (31-3, 19 KOs) will bring together on May 7 at the new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, as it happens?

Click Here to Watch “Canelo vs Khan” Live Online

Canelo is the current lineal, The Ring, and WBC middleweight champion, as well as a former WBC, WBA (Regular), and The Ring light middleweight champion. He is currently ranked the best pound-for-pound boxer by BoxRec.

Canelo is one of boxing’s biggest stars. But how he will perform on Saturday is a matter of fact. “I’ve got the experience now to know how to deal with it,” He said to Fighthype in talking about Khan’s hand speed. “He is fast and it is complicated, but I feel I have the experience now. I’ve fought fighters that are just as fast, I feel and I’ll be able to deal with it,” said Canelo.

“Amir Khan and I are just two players and I will be happy that such a significant network-like BoxNation may be airing our battle in Britain,” mentioned Canelo Alvarez. “This shows the great curiosity which exists in this super-fight on May 7, and can remind everyone that the devotees will be the people that will be successful because we are going to provide a fantastic fight.”

Amir Khan is a British professional boxer and two-time former world champion, having held the unified WBA and IBF light-welterweight titles. He currently holds the WBC Silver welterweight title.

Watch The Canelo vs Khan Fight Online

Amir Khan regard the Saturday match as a big challenge but he wants some big fights to move on his career. He says, “It was hard for me to motivate myself when I was fighting these other fighters. No disrespect to Algieri, or the other fighters I fought. I’ve always expected the big fights against like Mayweather, against Pacquiao, and when those fights aren’t happening it’s hard for me to motivate myself. And now it’s come to a time where it’s the biggest fight of my career against someone like Canelo where I know I can’t make a mistake so this is such a big motivation for me…I’ve always been asking for a big fight, and my time has come now so I’m not one to just let it go and get beat.” Canelo vs Khan can be a big opportunity for him. And he is strong enough to take that challenge. “I want to prove to people this is where I belong. Putting the weight on… it’s not slowed down the speed one bit. The speed is still there, the punch power is increased obviously. I’ve been sparring guys and they all say they feel the power. But I don’t want to focus on too much of the power because I don’t want it to slow me down and make that mistake where I’m trying too hard to throw a big shot.”

Canelo is unlikely to be deterred by the Brit’s punching power, so the costs of him coming forward will be minimal. If Khan can’t keep him off or tie him up, then he could be in a world of hurt.

What Amir Khan Thinks:

“The fight against Canelo isn’t about money,” said Khan to the mirror.co.uk. “I’m fighting him because he’s one of the top names in boxing and those are the types of challenges that I thrive on. I’ve always wanted to test myself against the very best and that’s what Canelo is,” said Khan.

Amir Khan wants some big fights to move on his career. And he is strong enough to take that challenge. “I want to prove to people this is where I belong. Putting the weight on… it’s not slowed down the speed one bit. But I don’t want to focus on too much of the power because I don’t want it to slow me down and make that mistake where I’m trying too hard to throw a big shot.”

Canelo has a rematch clause in the contract with Khan in case he loses to the British fighter. Canelo will use the rematch clause to attempt to gain revenge.

“This fight is probably the toughest one out there for me, but it gives me a chance to show where I belong,” said Khan.

Canelo Alvarez Thinks:

“I don’t like to get into political issues like that, but what I can say is, it hurts and offends,” Canelo said. “I want him to understand and for people to know that when I’m out there running, I see a lot of countrymen working hard, working in the fields. Not everybody’s coming here to rob and steal, and of course that hurts. But we want to come show him that us Mexicans and a lot of the immigrants, we come here to succeed and be victorious.”

Betting odds:

Alvarez win: 1/4

Draw: 28/1

Khan win: 3/1

In a stunning acquisition, The Channel of Champions will screen the sensational showdown that pits Canelo Alvarez, the WBC and Lineal Middleweight World Champion, against British superstar and former two-time world champion Amir Khan in an explosive blockbuster battle.

BoxNation, who in the first four months of this year will have shown five of the ten best pound-for-pound fighters in the world in Sergey Kovalev, Andre Ward, Terence Crawford and Gennady Golovkin exclusively live, delivers to its subscribers and British fight fans the mega-fight of the year.

The scene is set for the fistic extravaganza at the brand new, state-of-the-art, 20,000 seat arena on the famous Cinco De Mayo, Mexican holiday, weekend with thousands of fans descending into the big fight city.

Mexican great Canelo, the former unified WBC and WBA World Super-Welterweight Champion, has captivated fans around the world with his all-action brand of fighting and desire to face the toughest challenges.

With an outstanding record of 46 wins, 1 loss, 1 draw and 32 KO’s, his sole loss came against then pound-for-pound great Floyd Mayweather Jr. on points, but has since gone on to lay claim to be boxing’s biggest draw and one of the best and most recognized fighters in the sport.

Watch Canelo vs Khan live online free.

Canelo makes the first defense of his WBC and Lineal Middleweight World Championship crown – that he won against Puerto Rican rival Miguel Cotto last November – at the catchweight of 155lbs, but now must match his power and ferocious combination punching against Khan’s lightning fast and power-packed fists.

For British ace Khan, 31 wins, 3 losses and 19 KO’s, he faces the biggest challenge of his life when he steps up in weight to take on Canelo in a truly career defining fight.

The Bolton fighter has faced insurmountable odds in the past when as a 17-year-old at the 2004 Athens Olympics he mesmerised the nation as he battled his way to a silver medal.

As a professional he’s marked himself out as one of the most exciting fighters in the sport with his electrifying performances. Khan’s won his last five fights in a row following a loss to unified super lightweight world champion Danny Garcia, including exciting wins over former world champion Luis Collazo, former three-time world champion Devon Alexander and heads into the May 7 mega-fight with a victory over former world champion Chris Algieri last time out in May 2015.

“I’m delighted and proud that the biggest fight of the year between Khan and Canelo will be broadcast exclusively live in the UK on BoxNation,” said Frank Warren, Chairman of BoxNation. “We’ve had a tremendous year so far with five out of the top ten world’s best fighters all showcasing their talents on the Channel Of Champions and now the fantastic addition of Canelo vs. Khan. The fight has caught the imagination of the public because Khan is taking a huge risk by moving up a couple of weight divisions to face one of the most fearsome fighters in the world in Canelo. It’s a fascinating clash that has got the public, trade and media all split. Can Amir overcome the odds and use his fast feet and hands to overcome the raw aggression and power of Canelo? UK fight fans will be able to find out only on BoxNation.”

“BoxNation is a great broadcast partner to carry the Canelo-Khan mega fight in the UK,” said Oscar De La Hoya, chairman and CEO of Golden Boy Promotions. “Canelo-Khan is an international fight, with Mexico’s biggest star fighter facing Britain’s biggest star fighter, so I am pleased British audiences will have the opportunity to catch the action on BoxNation.”

“Amir Khan and I are two warriors and I am very pleased that such an important network like BoxNation will be broadcasting our fight in the UK,” said Canelo Alvarez. “This demonstrates the tremendous interest that exists in this mega-fight on May 7, and will remind everyone that the fans are the ones who will be victorious because we will deliver an exciting fight.”

“The fight against Canelo is the biggest challenge of my career and having the support of my fans back home, watching live on BoxNation, is going to help inspire me to victory,” said Amir Khan. “This fight is going to have it all – speed, power, skill – and I’m going to give everything to make sure that it’s my hand that is raised come the end of the night. It’s not going to be easy but I’m going to do British boxing proud.”

Why Amir Khan’s best chance of victory against Saul Alvarez is taking the Mexican 12 rounds

Canelo vs Khan Live: The Brit challenges for the WBC world middleweight title on May 7 – and it could be his durability that sees him over the line

Amir Khan continues to prepare for the biggest fight of his life when he faces Mexican Saul Alvarez in Las Vegas for the WBC world middleweight title on May 7. Watch Canelo vs Khan live online.

The Brit has stepped up two weight divisions for the bout, which is the highest profile of his career so far following failure to entice either Floyd Mayweather or Manny Pacquiao into a fight before their retirements.

Khan is confident he will not sacrifice any of his trademark speed despite the step up in weight, but it could be his durability that sees him over the line.

Bookmaker Sports Interaction has crunched the numbers and found Khan’s best chance of victory may be to take his opponent 12 rounds.

Four of Khan’s last five fights have been won by unanimous decision, while Canelo has stopped two of his last five opponents inside the scheduled distance.

Alvarez also has a 67 per cent knockout ratio, and would be the favourite if the fight is stopped before its natural conclusion.

Canelo Alvarez vs Amir Khan: Live Stream, Fight Preview, TV Schedule and Prediction

The 155-pound catchweight bout between Canelo Alvarez (46-1-1, 32 KOs) and Amir Khan (31-3, 19 KOs) will take place next month on May 7th at T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, NV. Canelo is the heavy favorite, but Khan is the underdog who remains confident ahead of the biggest fight of his career and the two boxers are preparing for their first bout of 2016. The fight is for Alvarez’s RING and WBC titles. The bout will be on HBO PPV.

Fight: Canelo Alvarez vs Amir Khan

When: Saturday, May 7 @ 9:00 p.m. ET/ 6:00 p.m. PT

Where: T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, NV

TV: HBO will broadcast “Canelo vs Khan

Saul “Canelo” Álvarez, 25, is the biggest star at this moment. He won the vacant WBC, The Ring and lineal middleweight titles in his last fight by defeating Miguel Cotto with a unanimous decision on Nov 21, 2015. On Sep 14, 2013 Canelo faced off Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and lost his WBC and The Ring light middleweight titles. This was his only lost of his boxing career. Alvarez defeated James Kirkland by a third round knockout on May 9, 2015. He is the most powerful boxer now and is willing to fight against Amir Khan.

Amir “King” Khan, 29, is a two-time former world champion and he currently holds the WBC Silver welterweight title. The speed star scored remarkable wins over two-time Olympic gold medalist Mario Kindelán and future world champion Victor Ortiz. He also wins over nine world champions, including Marcos Maidana, Julio Díaz, Chris Algieri, Paulie Malignaggi, Devon Alexander, and Zab Judah.

Álvarez will defend his lineal, Ring and WBC middleweight titles against Khan for the May 7th bout at the new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Khan is moving up two weight divisions to middleweight, to fight Canelo Álvarez. The fight is scheduled at a catchweight of 155 lbs.

Khan has spent a good portion of his training camp putting his muscle and increasing his speed for May 7th against the Mexican superstar.

Khan told to ESPN, “Stepping up a couple divisions has definitely given me more muscle and strength. My speed will be a bit better in this fight,” he added,”I’ve got a bit more power. When I throw those shots I will be throwing them with power. Every punch thrown becomes more perfect and the timing will be there.”

The 29-years-old believes he can win in spite of the size difficulty. He said, “I’ve been watching video of Canelo, and day after day it’s getting more and more confident that I can beat this guy.”

The winner of “Canelo vs Khan” is expected to face Gennady Golovkin (GGG) in September in a middleweight title unification bout. Golovkin (35-0, 32 KO) knocked-out Dominic Wade (18-1, 12 KO) on Saturday night at the Forum in Inglewood, California and is now waiting for the May 7th winner. Both Golden Boy Promotions and Alvarez’s camp know that he is the biggest moneymaker boxer right now. Most of the top ranked boxer ignore to fight against the GGG. He easily dispatched every competitor who’s been willing to step in the ring with him.

Specially Khan has no business in this fight. He will fight this bout as underdog. He knows this will be his first fight against someone who is heavier and also a bigger name but khan has strong confidence.

“I know I’m not going to be stronger than him,” Khan said. “It’s the first fight I’m walking into as the underdog and that’s good. Because I can prove to people that this is where I belong.”

By the way, the fight was at a catchweight of 155lb – one pound over the light-middleweight limit – an agreement between Canelo and Khan. Watch Canelo Alvarez vs Amir Khan on HBO PPV.
